Online Counselling Services

I offer online counselling services to provide flexibility and convenience for my clients. I use internet telecommunication platforms; JaneApp, which is accessible with passwords to provide counselling services over the web. A mobile phone, computer or tablet is required to deliver these telehealth counselling sessions. Once you book your appointment, you will receive an email notification with instructions on how to access your appointment.

How to Prepare for online counselling:

As a way of supporting you to get the most out of the experience and the time you are making for the session, I have a few thoughts to share on how to prepare for our time together. I share these recommendations in support of you considering what is optimal for YOU. Read the list below and notice if any of the prep options resonate with you. Let go of the ones that don't resonate and notice if other ideas emerge:

·  Come as you are, no prep required.

·  Dress comfortably. Avoid restricting clothing.

·  Set an intention or focus for the session. Your intention/focus might include a specific area of your life, interests or goals.

·  It is suggested that you come to the session prepared with a journal or notepad along with a pen, pencil or colored pencils/felts.

·  Spend 5-10 minutes journaling or being still/quiet in a comfortable space prior to the start of the session.

·  Remove all distractions. Turn device notifications off.

·  Ensure all devices that you are NOT using for this session are in a different room (research shows that having a device present, with notifications off creates a psychological distraction that is subtle but powerful and present).

·  Anything else that you know that helps you ground and center and be as present as possible.
